The Labora Collective is a medical publishing and community space grounded in reproductive health, justice, and accountability. Participation here requires care — for yourself, for others, and for the real-world consequences of information shared.
These guidelines exist to protect clarity, safety, and trust.
Purpose of This Community
This space exists to:
- Share accurate, grounded information
- Support thoughtful discussion of complex issues
- Center lived experience without exploitation
- Build accountability, not outrage
- Protect the safety and dignity of all participants
What We Expect
Engage with ideas, not identities. Disagree without demeaning. Treat every participant as someone whose experience matters.
Don't share unverified medical information. If you're uncertain, say so. Cite sources when making claims.
This community includes people in crisis. Language matters. Trigger warnings matter. Compassion is not optional.
This is not a space for individual medical advice. It is not therapy. It is not a substitute for emergency services.
What We Don't Allow
- Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse
- Misinformation presented as medical fact
- Exploitation of others' stories or experiences
- Hate speech, discrimination, or dehumanization
- Commercial spam or unsolicited promotion
- Doxxing or sharing private information
We don't block people lightly. But when participation consistently undermines safety, clarity, or trust, we will act to protect the community. Our commitment is to the space, not to any individual's right to occupy it without accountability.
